The BETa program it’s the beacon for Blip’s Early Talent Strategy.
As a company dedicated to empowering its professionals, BETa is more than a regular internship program. It’s a journey of growth, learning, and discovery. 1. Application

You’ve taken the time to learn about our program, and we’re thrilled that you’re interested! Now it’s time to apply. Make sure to update your CV, as you’ll need to upload it.
Your resume should showcase your professional side while also reflecting your personality. We’re particularly interested in hearing about your past experiences, such as internships, volunteering with NGOs, or involvement in student groups, that could contribute to your career growth.
Personal details like your address or ID number aren’t necessary for us. Whether you have a driver’s license or not isn’t relevant either. What matters most to us is whether you’re an active individual with ambition and the drive to become the best version of yourself possible.

2. Phone Screening
This is your first touchpoint with someone from Blip. We’ll let you know a bit about our company and the program on this call. You can expect some questions about you and your experience. We might throw you a small challenge or practical question. this is also a great opportunity for you to question us, we love inquisitive minds.

• Explore Blip’s website to gain insights into our culture and values.
• Prepare common interview questions, but please take some time to prepare the questions you want us to answer.
• Be detailed when discussing examples, as we often present problem scenarios and inquire about your potential actions in such situations.

3. Technical Assessment
Following the phone screening, all candidates will proceed to the Technical Assessment stage, a pivotal step in our selection process tailored to your chosen area of interest.
Whether you aspire to specialize in Frontend, Backend, SRE, Cloud, Product Owner, Product Design, or another relevant field within the tech industry, this assessment is designed to gauge your skills and potential.
Expect to encounter a technical challenge crafted for your desired role. We aim to assess your problem-solving abilities, technical proficiency, and suitability for the unique opportunities available within BETa. Prepare to showcase your expertise and demonstrate how you can thrive in our dynamic and innovative environment.

4. Assessment Day
15 May
This is the best part of our process – only the cream of the crop gets an invite! We’ve blocked out a whole day just for you to swing by our office. There’ll be fun activities lined up, and you’ll get to hang out with our managers, teams, and maybe even your future coworkers.
It’s an all-day gig, and we’ll make sure you’re taken care of every step of the way. Plus, you’ll have the chance to check out our digs and mingle with loads of different folks here at Blip.
If there’s anything we need you to prep for the day, we’ll give you a heads-up in advance so you can come prepared.

BETa is a 9-month professional internship aimed at nurturing the skills and talents of emerging professionals. BETa’s will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies, particularly in the sports betting industry.
International students can apply for the BETa program as long as they’re EU Citizens. However, interns have to be based in Portugal for the 9-month internship to be eligible for our program.

BETa is a paid internship program. Besides the monthly compensation, BETa’s will have access to benefits offered to all of our employees.
For the 2024 edition, BETa has a great number of challenges in different areas: Software Development (Backend/Frontend), Quality Assurance, Product Owner, SRE/DevOps and some more. You can select your main areas of interest in your application and first interview. We’ll drive your process towards those areas.
The recruitment process starts once you have submitted your application. Then, if we think you are suitable for the role, we will invite you for an interview with a Talent Acquisition team member. This interview will be focused on evaluating your fitness for the role, but also your alignment to our Culture and Values. The next step will be a Technical Exercise ou a Business Case (depending on the role you are interested in), and if you are successful, you will be invited to our Assessment Day in our Office!
Choosing BLIP means choosing a workplace that acts as an agent of growth. Interns will be supported by their teams, that are dedicated to mentor and foster growth. There will be on-the-job training, and also Networking opportunities.

Blip offers a formative plan suited to the talents we are looking for. Besides this, interns will be part of a team, having the chance to work on internal projects and help the teams reach success.
As a BETa you’ll be part of a team, you’ll be exposed to their daily challenges and rituals. We’ll make sure that you have regular 1:1’s with your manager, focused on making the best out of the time you spend with us.
In order to improve your experience and facilitate your learning process, you can choose the way of working that works best for you (Work at the Office, Hybrid work or Work from Home).
Our office, based in Porto, is known as one of the best places to work in Portugal, and you’ll have the opportunity to create some great memories here. Blip will provide you with everything you need to work at the office or at home.
Certainly, there are often opportunities for continued employment with Blip following the completion of the BETa internship. Many of our BETa interns transition into roles as associates within Blip, sometimes to different teams.
